Drop forged chain
Drop forged chains supplied by VAV are made of heat treated high grade alloy steel. The links are mounted with pins that are available in a wide variety.
Pins are available in the following materials: 16MnCr5, 42CrMo4i, 1.4034i, 1.4122i, 1.4462, 1.4713.
These links can be equipped with plastic or steel scrapers (or a combination of these). Several sizes of drop forged chain are available from stock.
This product is also commonly referred to as or can be compared to: Forged chain, fork chain, redler chain, VO-chain or scraper chain.
