(Super) starco Elevator buckets

Starco and Super Starco elevator buckets made of pressed steel (or stainless steel) and plastic (PE, Nylon) are suitable for transporting various products at a high belt speed.

The low rear height and the relatively large projection guarantee that the Starco bucket easily ejects its product even at high belt speeds. This makes it possible to attain a higher capacity.

In the table below you will find the dimensions with corresponding contents (Z3 = water filling) and the maximum number of elevator buckets per meter.

This product is also commonly referred to as or can be compared to: Claus, System C, Jet, EuroJet or high capacity bucket.

Starco Steel

Starco elevator buckets made of pressed steel (S235JRG2 or stainless steel) are suitable for transporting various products. Due to the relatively low rear height (h1) of the buckets, a large number of buckets can be placed per meter. These buckets can also be produced in a welded version and be equipped with a front edge or 3-sided edge reinforcement.

The low rear height and relatively large discharge ensure that the Starco bucket easily ejects its product even at a high belt speed. This allows a high capacity to be achieved.

WP DataTables

Z2 = gross volume in liters, Z3 = net volume in liters.
Starco elevator buckets are also available in thicknesses (t) of 2.5 and 3.0 mm.

Special designs with differing hole spacing are possible in some cases.

plastic starco Buckets

VAV supplies plastic Starco elevator buckets made of PEHD and nylon ex stock. Besides, PU and zytel are also available. Plastic elevator buckets lend themselves particularly well to the transport of wet, sticky or fatty products. Another advantage is that plastic elevator buckets do not strike a spark even if the belt is misaligned.

Another advantage is that plastic elevator buckets do not spark when running out of pouly, even if the belt is not properly aligned. PEHD is temperature resistant up to 70 degrees Celsius and nylon elevator buckets are temperature resistant up to 90 degrees Celsius.

Super starco steel

The Super Starco buckets are deeper than the ‘regular’ Starco buckets, although they are equally suitable for elevators with higher belt speeds. This elevator bucket lends itself particularly well to light-weight and/or wet materials. Steel and plastic Super Starco are available from stock. VAV supplies the Super Claus in PEHD en nylon. Besides materials as PU and zytel are also available.

This product is also commonly referred to as or can be compared to: SPS, SuperClaus, System CC, JETor high capacity bucket.
